The front of our new houseWell, almost that is. We talked to our realtor tonight and the appraisal went through. It seems that we should have a closing date in the next couple of weeks and will be out of apartment purgatory! Of course, we realize that owning a home will be more stress and $, but we won't be afraid to step out onto our porch for fear of the upstairs neighbor dog peeing on our heads!
The house is small and old without a trace of insulation in the crawl space....sure to be fixed by November! The single bath is cramped and ill suited to a family of 4. The bedrooms are tiny and we hope we will fit. The kitchen is roomy enough (bigger than the apartment for sure!) And we have grand plans to change them all!
