Merry Christmas all!!!
We spent our Christmas at the Harmony Ranch, for those of you reading this who might not be familiar- Harmony Ranch is the little piece of LA (Lower Alabama) heaven where Bart's folks have taken up residence... it is "owned" by the 11 siblings and is being developed and run by Norman and Gerry. If you click on the blog link in the sidebar, there is another blogroll with photos and news (just as neglected I assure you!)
Anyway, we went down to celebrate with Bart's mom and dad, his sister Lydia and sister Lori and family (Hubby Steve, kids: Will, Andrew, Danny, Niko, Mike, Anna and Gabby.) We had loads of fun, especially watching all those cousins play! There is a ton of room to roam and explore, 4-wheelers and a dune buggy to ride, a tree fort to play in, a tree swing to swing on, puddles and a creek to get wet in, two goats, two horses, two dogs (+ one visiting!) a cat and lots of wildlife! This makes for a very engaging experience! You can see activity in every direction! We cook and eat outside mostly, so we shiverred a little this visit. When the sun came out, we basked in it's warm glow! There were fire building contests and Bart's guitar music songs and memories throughout (somebody is always singing!) The garden is still growing (kale and cabbage!) and joy abounds.....
Our wish was that we would see all our loved ones...but as scattered as our families and friends are, that wish will have to wait until we are together forever in heaven! (I hope there are dishwashers in Heaven....or maybe since "He makes all things new...." we will get new dishes at each meal!) We pray that your Christmas was equally wonderful and that your 2010 is full of blessings!

Sounds like typical Berneche fun. Glad a good time was had by all. Wondering what that interesting yellow thing is that you look so excited over. Hugs, mom
